Women facing a Hysterectomy have a new innovative surgical option. The Supra-Cervical Hysterectomy prevents a lot of problems. Unfortunately few women know about it.

(WSVN) - Many doctors hold on to the old idea - remove everything during a Hysterectomy. Including the ovaries and cervix. Women should fight to keep them if possible. Beth Larson says, "I'd rather leave anything that I can in than to take it out." The Supra-Cervical Hysterectomy gives women that option. It leaves the cervix intact and can be done Laporscopically.

Ob-Gyn Dr. Lanalee Araraba Sam says, "By leaving the cervix in, you're providing vaginal support so that the vagina is less likely to ultimately prolapse or fall out after a hysterectomy." Click here to read more...
